Emily is bothering Bonnie because shes wearing her necklace. And Emily want’s Bonnie to save her because Damon did something to her after Kathrine died. Now Damon wants the Necklace because that necklace can free Emily but Damon wants it cause he doesnt want Emily to be free..and thats how Bonnie ends in that Cemetary place sorta scene.
(Hope that makes you understand why Damon wants that necklace so bad.)
Thats not why. he wants the necklace so he can free Kathrine from the tomb because she isnt dead, just locked in a crypt. emily is the one who cast the spell and she feels bad about it so thats why she is bothering bonnie. she doesnt want damon to succeed in freeing all those vampires in the crypt, including Kathrine.

okay, everyone needs to get it straight that stefan and lexi did NOT like each other. she is his oldest friend. she’s a vampire and she’s 360 years old and stefan is 162. she’s the friend that’s always been there for him. and honestly, if they did love each other they wouldn’t see each other just once a year. they’d live together and everything. LEXI AND STEFAN DO NOT LIKE EACH OTHER.
i know stefan and lexi dont like each other but wat about when damon killed her and said it was part of the plan and elena need 2 stay w/ stefan becuz she later on likes damon in episode 11

Looks exciting..Can’t wait. I am really loving this series, much more than Twilight. I don’t mean to compare, really. But to be honest, twilight was just too hollywood, and its suppose to be, because its fiction. But the Vampire Diairies really captures the true meaning of what it is to be a Vampire, and all the trouble that one would have to go through, and all the heartache. I think its because of this emotion that this show radiates that I’m so attached to it. Fave.

Have you read the Twilight Books? Because if you have then you would know that it is ALL emotions, and much much deeper than vampire diaries. Maybe a little too much heartache at times. And as for struggling with it..Well you should read the Saga, because all 4 books are a struggle. I like Vampire diaries, I watch it every week, and I’ve read t too but there is a reason why Twilight is a worldwide smash, and why Vampire diaries is on cable. Again, not trying to be a “hater” but it doesn’t compare, plus they’ve change so much from the books.
Hi! Ive read all twilight books and all vampire diaries too. My opinion is Vampire Diaries IS much better (except for the part when….well, the ghost army part). Vampire Diaries to me is much more realistic….well, the love part….because in twilight, bella is just wayyy too crazy for edward. I know that a lot of people are like that too with their loved ones (maybe thats why they leave them in the first place) but being lifeless for months?! Well she must be really lonely….Anyway, in Vampire Diaries, Elena and even Stefan had a lot of flaws and dats what makes them real…. <- this is my opinion, ok. I loved twilight too
Also, i think the reason why they changed the series so much is exactly because they didnt want it to be too much like Twilight. The first book is really similar and of course they wouldnt want to make another twilight, right?

Hey! well ive gotta disagree with you about that. no i havent read Vampire Diaries, but ive read the whole Twilight Saga (11x in 3 months to be exact!). I have to say that when u compare the tv show (vampire diaries) and the movie (twilight), the movie SUCKED!
i liked it sometimes, but they always get the parts for bella wrong, or edward isnt as emotional as he should be in the book and then they leave out important parts of it too! and in New Moon, bella is just waayyy too whiney (i have to admit that i did cry when he left her, but that was because ive been through that before and i also thought the way she handled it was REALLY pathetic!).
in the show though, i think that Stefan and Elena have a really good relationship and act great together!! idk much about the Vampire Diaries to give you a good point of view between the show and the books. but i think that Elena and Stefans’ relationship with each other are less dramatic and not as controlling.
thats just my thoughts . . . dont mean to piss anyone off!!

I think Lexi is just a good friend, but not romantic. Hope this episode is as good as the “Haunted” episode. Thursday is tv night for me, The Vampire Diares, Grey’s Anatomy, and then The Practice.
Patiently waiting to find out what advice Lexi gives Elena, and to see how Jeremy is now that Damon worked his majic on him. Looks like Bonnie might be a really strong witch. Oh, my, there is just so much good information for them to fill us in on.

That really old witch the Bonnie’s Grandma showed to Bonnie that had that necklace on is the same woman from one of the Kathrine flash-backs. It’s when Stefan first met Katherine and he was waiting for her to get out of the carriage when that same girl from the really old picture came out of the carriage first. I was wondering why they would have showed some girl come out of the carriage before Katherine. I knew there was something special about her.

Based on the time period she was, more than likely, Katherine’s slave and a witch. It was her job to take care of Katherine, and that’s why she helped her out of the carrage.

Translation:
I think that Elena’s parents were part of the council (vampire hunting committee), that’s why they had the watch (part of the compass), it must be passed down each generation with the knowledge of the vampire history in Mystic Falls, but because they died it ended with them. Therefore, I figure their ancestors were some of the original council to hunt the vampires that may have included Katherine (if she is actually dead, where as she is not in the books). Elena’s friend Bonny’s great great great grandmother was close to Katherine (as shown in the flashback as her maid) like Bonny is close to Elena now! I also figure that Lexi is not talking to Elena when she says, “I can hurt you and you know I can” because she wouldnt need to say something like that to a human, but to say it to Damon it would make sense, because she is much older and probably much stronger than he. (“Dan”s theories translated)
The series is nothing like the books except all the names are the same and the weaknesses that vampires in the book have. Also, Vicky doesnt get turned into a vampire by Damon, She gets attacked and goes all freaky and tries to strip off in the cafetieria but doesnt get turned and die. Its a really good series, but nothing at all like the books. xx
Oh god.. i think the producers are like torturing us or something. whenever i watch finish one episode i would CRAVE for more. When i reach episode 7 i was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! They weren’t faithful to the books at all. Damon here is a lot more cruel and merciless… I liked Damon in the books and felt bad for him when Elena chose Stefan over Damon (I don’t think this really counts as a spoiler because I’ve read the books but it’s totally unrelated to the tv series, but just in case). I think Damon kinda had feelings for Bonnie later on (who… isn’t really a witch in the books). Also, the plot was rather… more interesting and coherent.
I’m hoping for a adaptation of the Night World series – I like that one better than Vampire Diaries.

yes i have read the twilight series and WHY DID DAMON KILL LEXI? Damon killed them and changed the witnesses memory so that lexi would get the blame. So WHY? i totally wish that damon would die!
He used Lexi to “get rid of the towns little vampire problem”. And I think Damon knew she would try to help Stefan and Elena patch things up once she saw how happy Elena makes Stefan, so he wasn’t going to allow that either.

I love Vampire Diaries!!!! Although, the books are soooooo different from the books!!!!! In the books Elena has blonde hair and then in the tv series she has brunette hair?!?! And Elena has 3 friends, Bonnie, Caroline and Merdith. In the tv series she only has Caroline & Bonnie?!?! And Caroline, I THINK, has black hair in the books…..but that migh have been Bonnie or Merdith?!?!
