Great episode but its strayed VERY far away from the books at this point. Hopefully it will pick its self back up again because the director said he wanted to stay true to the book, but didn’t they all? I love that Damon was reading one of the Twilight books, so hilarious :] And go Stefan its about time you stepped up and knocked your brother down a notch, but now there will be hell to pay. Ha ha.

ughhh i hate the vampire diaries its so gay, its funny how l.j. smith wants to get her vampire books out there in t.v. ever since the twilight saga got famous, ughh haters!!!! they betta stop taking shots at the twilight in there series because theres a lot of twilight fans out there and there’s going to be be chaos, besides l.j. smith had more than a decade to make her books into movies or something its funny she picks now, trying to steal twilights fame, shee needs to let other people have a chance, besides stephine meyer is so much better then her!!!! l.j smith even tried to make her character elena look like bella, because her books they describe her with blonde hair and blues eyes like “ice queen” so why in the t.v. series elena has brown eyes and brown hair!!!! COPY CATERS!!!!!!!

There are thousands of people who enjoy it on here so why don’t you go else where and complain, because on here you just look stupid, immature, ignorant and annoying. not everything is about competing with twilight. Obviously twilight opened the doors for the vampire diaries to become a show as for other series and movies as well, and your an idiot if you cant recognize that. And did it ever occur to you that maybe someone approached lj smith to do the series. Anyone would be stupid to turn down an opportunity like that just because they were afraid of immature 14 year old girls saying you copied twilight. THe vampire thing is very big right now and apparently twilight alone can not fulfill everyones hunger for the forbidden love of a brooding vampire so there are other shows out there. i for one am a fan of them all, ever since buffy and angel. And maybe, just maybe when they auditioned for the part of Elena this girl seemed to fit her personality perfect so perfect that it didn’t matter about her appearance being the same! She is beautiful and plays the part great and thats all that matters. SHE LOOKS NOTHING LIKE BELLA! i have brown hair does that mean i think i look like bella? NO! No one goes word for word with the book that would just be boring! And little miss know it all, did you know that the vampire diary books were out about a 10 years before twilight. I am a huge fan of twilight and true blood and the vampire diaries. I read all the books before they were ever on tv and i don’t care to think anyone copied anyone, just be happy there’s books and shows and movies for you to read and watch of things of your interest being so popular right now. And if you actually read all of the twilight and vampire diary books all the way threw instead of just watching the show and movie you would realize just how truly different they really are. So the next time you decided to make a comment check you facts sweetie! Just relax and enjoy the show, once you get over your jealousness you might actually even enjoy the series! And don’t worry i don’t think stephanie myers will think you are cheating are her more less give a damn!! she loves this whole fantasy world stuff i bet she even watches this show herself! later hater <3

Plus there are no sexy vampire brothers fighting over a girl in Twilight, and I personally like reading L.J. Smith’s writing better, though I do like Twilight as well.

Okay so Vampire Diaries is my new favorite show EVER made. I love the characters, who by the way are very hot. Every single one of them =). They should replace the characters from Twilight and put these ones in. Paul Wesley has more of the characteristics of Edward than Robert Pattinson. And Kristen Stewart is pretty too but like really, look at Nina Dobrev. She is gorgeous. Anyways, Vampire Diaries= <333

vampire diaries is way better than twilight. twilight sounds like a totally lame series why they made movies out it is beyond me, and vampire diaries is so way better.
