Which one? I heard “Running Up That Hill” by Placebo, “Back to Me” by The All-American Rejects and “Never Say Never” by The Fray. If I had to hazard a guess, I would hope you were trying to locate the Placebo song – it is pretty brilliant.
Ok, I think I will be checking this show out on a regular basis!
I have to admit that there are some similarities between this and Twilight, but this already seems to be done better. Usually pilot episodes are the worst in the series as well so you can only expect the show to get better!

True, but in the book he had a black 911 porshe…but then again stenphanie meyer used a yellow 911 porshe in new moon, so I’m sure that would cause more people to be “Oh this soo copying twilight because I don’t realize that there were many other vampire books out before twilight” even more than they already are.
the vampire diaries books came out like 10 yrs before twilight did so if anything twilight was a copy

This is not as good as True Blood, but better than Twilight in my opinion. In True Blood there is so much action ever second, but in Twilight and Vampire Diaries there is to much romance and not enough drama.

In True Blood, Vampires have been “out of the coffin” for 2 years due to a synthetic blood the japanese have invited called TruBlood. It is centered in a small town called Bon Temps and it’s inhabitants and it all starts when they get their first vampire, Bill Compton.
The story (like Vampire Diaries) is based on a book series: The Sookie Stackhouse Novels by Charlaine Harris.
Whereas Vampire Diaries could be considered Young Adult, the Stackhouse series is definitely mature content.

I have to say that it is very sad to see such messages that bully and disrespect what the creators of this website! Its true what they say about US, rude, rude, rude. I am part owner of multiple isp’s in Australia and search alot of online programs to promote. If I was in the US annd had to pay to watch such programs I would be greatful, cas it a hell mof a lot cheaper to watch online. To those who post comments that I could compare to the mentally ill, think outside the square for 5 mins and appreciate the work that goes into these sites. I love true blood, and supernatural and really anything from HBO. But what i dont like is people with utter disrespect. Well, i was never a fan of Twilight or True Blood, but i anyway decided to watch The Vampire Diaries. I found the show, “okay”. Nothing Special. Though, I think the show would have been better if another actress had played Elena. Otherwise, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder are great. I thought the dialouages were a bit too cheesy. Over-all, 7/10. But for some reason, I couldn’t myself but watch the second episode.
