Would You Really Want Elena and Damon to Hook Up on Vampire Diaries?
The Vampire Diaries is currently in transition and it looks like the more Stefan turns bad, the more Elena is drawn to Damon and him to her.
But given this circumstance, would you still want Elena and Damon to hook up?
See, Stefan is not himself right now. And he can’t even remember how much Elena matters to him. That’s got to hurt really bad for her. For his part, Damon has been with Elena and making sure that she is safe and protected, even from Stefan. Their feelings for each other are growing stronger. And even if Elena remains solid and loyal to Stefan, despite his behavior, it’s also clear she’s touched by Damon’s care and gesture.
I think the situation is putting Stefan at a disadvantage, because he doesn’t really know what’s going on. If he comes out of the spell and sees his brother and his girlfriend falling in love with each other, I wonder where that would drive him?
But then again, maybe this is the kind of conflict and tension the producers want to happen for the next season. What do you think?
Underneath all these vampire, witches and werewolf folklore, The Vampire Diaries has such an engaging love story as its roots. The Stefan-Elena-Damon love triangle should get real interesting as the plots develop deeper this season.

Yes, yes a million times yes! I think the writers put Stefan in this situation so that Elena and Damon had a fair shot. Damon is just as good a guy as Stefan… it’s just buried a bit deeper.
I like this new relationship unfolding… I hope Stefan stays bad after Klaus’s compulsion wears off…

I really REALLY want damon and elena to be together…they just look awesome together and I just want this to happen…Hes really been there for her through all , even when he knew she was rigid on being with stefan and still is…inspite of it all his feelings for her have been strong..n as far as my opinion is concerned Damon and Elena together, its just perfect!

Elena, deviaavaliar best feelings, to me she is being very deceitful and unfaithful to Stefan he does not deserve it, if she loves him as she says, she would go to the end of the world, to save him, Elena and Damon never, ever can get together, Stefan does not deserve this betrayal, STELENA FOREVER.
After all that Stefan has done for her and her brother, she dares to fall in love with his brother, is a tremendous betrayal, and nobody says anything to her, Julie must at least have someone say it to Elena, but by the way, will not happen Julie just know Stefan and sacrifice does not care about their fans, which is unfortunate and disappointing.
If she hooks up with daemon then wat would be the difference between catherine and her ??

I agree with you. Damon needs someone that genuinely loves only him. If Elena choose Damon that does not differentiate her from Katherine at all. Damon would again be the second choice. I do feel bad for him. That would also damage the relationship with the brothers. Stefan loves his brother and his absence from Elena is all because of him.
I just started watching Vampire Diaries recently. It was on Netflix and decided to give it a try. I am now officially hooked. I am gonna have to agree that the Elena/Stefan ship is boring and seems to lack chemistry. I think its the fact that they are good people and very similar to each other. Elena/Damon have better chemistry and total opposites. Most people like the whole good girl/ bad girl relationship. Inevitably the show I believe stefan/elena will end up together at the end. I would love to see Katherine/Stefan together. They have the best chemistry of any of the relationships in the show so far. Katherine and Stefen truly did love each other in 1800′s and you can see subtle signs that Stefan still does and we all know Katherine does. Another think to keep in mind is Elena does not want to be a vampire. She wants to have kids and grow old. She will never have that with the Salvatore brothers unless they become human. Just a thought.
yes and yes i would love to see elena and damon in love and together and as much as stephan was there for elena damon was right there two he even was there when stephan was gone i think both deserve this chance and we deserve this chance to see such a great love story growing
I love Elena and Stephan but after everything they’ve been through and everything he’s done i don’t think they should be together. I personally get the feeling he still loves Katherine more than elena anyway. And Elena seems to make damon want to be better and i think they have way more chemistry. I think Stephan deserves someone who he can look at and not be reminded of what hes done. Elena and Stephan are done. They both deserve to move on.
