It’s amazing that we are already up to episode 7. But so far how to do you think the show is going. The ratings show that it is very popular, but what do you think?
Is it a correct portrayal of the book? Are the Characters what you thought they would look like, your view? Totally ruined the book or made it even better for you??
How have you like the Tv episodes so far, I have absolutely loved them each week has been more exciting then the previous and the actors are in my opinion fantastic.

the show is really amazing but it isnt related to book.maybe stephan and damon is right but elana was blonde and had different character type in the book.both are good,I think
The show is totally different than the book. But for me it makes it so much better!!!!!! I think Elena was more forceful in the book, and not as shy. But then again they totally look cute together! : )
I’ve read the books and i watch the show and i honestly like Elena’s character on the tv better, the book character bugs me a little. I do think the brothers are protrayed nicely and by extremely hot actors.
I love the show! I’m addicted! I think Elena is a little emo, but that’s really the only problem. I am obsessed with this show now – I’d die if I missed one episode!
I think they chose Damon and Stephans characters well. However they have gone very different to the book, so it will be interesting to see where they end up. I wonder if they’ll end up at the same conclusion in book 2?
And i cant tell if they are basing series 1 on book 1 or if they are going into book 2. Also the “Vampire hunting” only really begins in book 3 yet its starts in episode 5/6 series 1.
I hope the produces have thought it through,(Im sure they have)

LUV the show!!! There are a lot of things they changed in the show. Nina makes a good Elena. Whereas in the book Elena’s a blonde, in the show she’s a brunette. I don’t know if leaving out Meredith is good or bad, but I know that it is totally confusing since I’m reading the books right now AND watching the show. But in a way, the show is WAY better than the book ( something I never thought I’d say about a show/movie based on a book ).
I L.O.V.E. the Salvatore brothers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they’re also not EXACTLY like in the book, but, DAMN, they chose great players. They’re both totally hot! But I still like Damon (Ian) better!
Anyway. So far: a great show!!
OMG i watched 2 episodes of Vampire Diaries it was pretty much scary to me but i don’t know how other people think about it. their was only 1 way to describe it excellent even it was scary but it was amazing. thank you the person who created this movie because it looks really real and fascinating.
i’m glad that the show is different from the book like true blood the show is COMPLETELY diff from the books, so much better I hope that this show stays the same way too :] i like how its playing out
The show is very different from the books, and that’s what makes it so interesting to me. I’d be bored stiff if the show was exactly the same. The little twists, turns, and changes add pazzaz (sp). The guys, well what’s to say but GREAT! Elena is more likable in the show, than she was in the books. Bonnie, Caroline, and Vickie seem to have been mixed up in their qualities from the books. I think that also makes for more interest. Now the producers are adding a completely new female character, Lexi, and that should shake things up even more. All in all; I really liked the books, but I love the show.
THATS FUNNY. I MEAN STEPHANS LOOKING ALL CALM AND COLLECTED STARING AT THE CAMERA, ELENAS ACTING ALL TOUGH AND MACHO LIKE SHE CAN HANDLE BOTH OF THEM, AND DAMON, OH BEAUTIFUL DAMON, IS LOOKING AT ELENA ALL CONFUSED PROBABLY THINKING,”YOUR KIDDING, RIGHT?” LOOKS TOTALLY COOL.
I think that the show has adapted the story to the 21st century very well, don´t forget that the books were written in the early 90´s. I like the actors very much, though at the beginning I thought they were not fit for the role. Anyways, it has been a great show so far, and the changes make you anticipate even more the next episode because you don´t know exactly what´s going to happen!! Love from Spain.

the book is better than the show… i think its cause i read the book first… but anyway… the show is good.. its better than Twilight the movie.. cause they didnt screw it up they just changed just about everything… that made no sense
Well, I haven’t read the books yet, but trust me, I soooo want to.
When I watched the first episode, I was totally addicted.
When I record the episodes on my television, I will watch each episode multiple times before the next episode will come out. I pretty much do that just so I keep track of what has happened so far (I’m very scatter-brained…).
This show (and the actors…) make the show much better!
P.S.:Stephan Salvator is sooooooooooooo hot!

The tv series is so like worth craving for. Especially Paul Wesley, he’s so damn hot. I’m kinda into vampire stories nowadays, especially the ones written by LJ Anne Smith. Oh, I hope they make Night Wolrd into a tv series too. But that aside, this series is so good, I can’t stop thinking about it. Hope to see the next episodes soon.

OMG! I love love love love love love love this show!! I keep watching them over and over XD I haven’t read the books but i do reckomend the ‘Night World’ series by L. J. Smith, they are awesome! I think i’m gunna have to read the ‘Vampire Diaries’ as well
DAMON IS SOOOO HOT!! He’s got that bad guy look down to a tee XD Of course, Stefan is a real looker and Edward Cullen needs to watch out

i think that the vampire diaries is an amzing tv series so far. The characters are well acted. I’ve read the book series and think they r really good too.

Honestly? It is pure crap. I’ve read the book series, and I’m completely repulsed of how the TV show turned out.
The entire book revolves around Elena’s silky blond hair, and beautiful blue eyes. Apparently, some incompetence was shown.

i think its really awesome my friend Cristy has been watching it with me and then she finished watching allk of them and she thought it sucked that it left her hanging then we went and saw “Twilight New moon” and it left her hanging too so that just sucks they both left us hanging but i read the 1st and 2nd book of ‘The Vampire Diaries” and 150 pages of the 3rd book “he Fury” and read all the twilight series but “midnight sun”.
i love them boyh but i think Damons Hot and sexy. Stefen is too sort of. I wonder what Nina (Elena) thinks?
Love the show. I am so addicted that I am thinking about seeing a shrink because the show is on break. Love Love Love the show!
