Vampire Diaries Star Reveals Who He Loves Waking Up Next To!

February 16th, 2012 by Lynda Kennedy

Who would you rather wake up next to, Nina Dobrev or a furry feline? Recently Vampire Diaries sexy Ian Somerhalder revealed his answer and it’s not who you think. With their attempts to keep their relationship under wraps it is no surprise his answer was his furry feline.

Somerhalder who plays Damon on the popular CW series told his fans he loves waking up next to his cute cat. He added it’s a perfect way to begin his day! It’s no secret he loves animals as he participates in many causes and charities surrounding animals and the environment.

In other Vampire Diaries news. Somerhalder’s girlfriend, companion, partner or perhaps we should just call them co-stars, Nina Dobrev celebrated the Superbowl last weekend with one of her girlfriends. While hanging out with Emmanuelle Chriqui at a Superbowl pre-game party she tweeted her wish that the two were twin sisters. Where was her beau Somerhalder, not sure actually, but she looked to be having a great time.

Jokes aside, I respect the couple’s wish to keep their relationship quiet. Far too often celebrities and their relationships are put under a magnifying glass. I think it’s great if they’re able to keep some secrets.
