Time
So I’ve watched the latest episode twice looking for some reason why my feelings have changed for Damon. On all the other episode Damon is a bad guy but you’re intrigued by him. You like his quirky comments and his devilish look. Eyebrows raised and the wicked half grin he gives when he is about to make a joke. Some of his quotes have been the best part of the show. But with the 162 Candled episode, I finally disliked Damon for what he did to Stefan. I know he stopped the cops from looking into their arrival, but I cannot see myself ever liking Damon again, but I’ll still enjoy his comments and wicked smile.
Has anyone else lost their admiration for Damon, is anyone switching to Stefan’s side now?
I’m standing on the edge now, once being enthralled with Damon am now upset and wondering if Stefan is the better character.

Damon can be a pain for what he does to others especially Stefan but I can never dislike him =)
i thought that what damon did in 162 candles was horrible but thats just who he is. i will always like him more than stephan and i think that him and elena should be together not stepha and elena
I still love, Damon.
I was really upset that he killed Stefan’s best friend but in the last couple episodes he’s shown a sweet and vulnerable side to himself. I felt so bad for him in “History Repeating” when he talked about his love for Katherine being real. Now he’s lost her forever! Damons a great addition to the show, love him, but definitetly also love, love, love Stefan!
I absolutely agree with dramaQueen! I think that he is bad, but he’s like that for a reason! He loved Katherine and now there’s no way to get her back. He was vulnerable and sweet, I felt really bad for him because he was really sad!
I absolutely love Damon! They make him so evil in the show. He’s definitely not evil in the books. Mean, yeah, but not as ruthless as the tv show makes him.
like duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh of course stephen is the better character wher hav u been all this time huh? havent u noticed by nw i mean damon is hot n all but hes evil which is also hot but u wat i mean and besides in case u havent noticed the latest episode history repeating it show damon in a really bad state in the end so if u do hav a heart u would feel srry 4 him

Feel kind of sad for him but i guess it’s all for the best.. I hope he shines up a little bit next episode

I like damon. and not because of the “I-like-bad-guys-thing” but because of his feelings he has deep inside of him. Come on guys! what he did for Elena’s brother was realy sweet! before that I only liked him because of his looks but now I like him because of what he is, the damon he tries to hide realy hard!

DEEP down inside, Damon is a good guy. He loves Stephan but he doesnt show it. I also agree that what he did for Jeremy was very sweet and shows foreshadowing. I mean deep down inside, he is a good guy he has just lived so long that hes turned to what he is. He just wants Katherine back and he will do anything to get her back. I know that its bad that he kills people but he does it with reason.
