The Vampire Diaries: Are You on Team ElijEna?
Whether shippers of Stelena and Delena admit it or not, there’s no denying the fact that Elijah, one of the Original siblings is smitten with our lead girl, Elena Gilbert. And it may have something to do with the fact that Elena is a Petrova doppelganger.
Some two episodes back, Klaus and Elijah has revealed that they both fell in love with someone who looks exactly like Elena, with Katherin as the doppelganger, which also essentially means, Elena is too.
But according to Daniel Gillies, who plays Elijah, his character’s attraction for Elena may be more than because she’s a doppelganger for the Original Petrova. Elijah may actually see Elena’s character as noble, true and triumphant, a cut everyone else in Mystic Falls.
“He’s run into this person who demonstrates a kind of triumphant spirit. In the beginning when we met Elijah, she was just an instrument to his immediate desires and nothing more, but I think he prides his courage over all other qualities and the valor of being true to oneself, so the more that he got to know her, the more he adored those qualities in her. She’s more noble than anybody.”
He also believes that Elijah’s attraction for Elena is deep and spiritual and that the feeling is reciprocated.

hope elena ends up with elijah or matt or another human but don’t end up with either salvatore brothers because they are brothers and should not fight for elena let her fell in love with another men because what i am seeing the salvatore brothers are going to end up destroying each other.
