Now that we’re three episodes in, I think it’s safe to say that we have a fair idea of where this series is heading…We’ve been introduced to the important characters (with Stefan and Damon’s juicy history yet to be revealed) and I have to say I’m loving the casting. For those of you who haven’t read the books, I won’t say much, but the way that Stefan and Damon’s relationship is being portrayed is certainly what I would have expected as a lover of the books. The build up toward Elena’s discovery of Stefan’s vampire-ness (love making up words) also has me on the edge of my seat. With this latest episode, we can see her sensing something is off. Will she figure it out before the rest of Mystic Falls does? Or will our resident psychic Bonnie be the first to hit the truth?

What’s also interesting is the interaction between Elena and Damon. Now, I know that I adore her and Stefan together (aren’t they just the cutest!), however I can’t help but sense something brewing here with Damon (wether it be good or bad we shall have to wait for that, but it is after all Damon, how good could it be?). So, to open up discussion, I pose this question to all you fellow Vampire Diaries lovers: taking what you’ve seen so far into consideration, what can you sense lurking in the shadows for Elena, Stefan and Damon?
