Nina and Ian Talk Vampire Diaries Romance
In this week’s episode of The Vampire Diaries, both brothers professed that they do love Elena. Now, that’s going to be a huge problem, with the brothers competing for one girl’s affection. What will happen from hereon, now that the cards have been laid out on the table? Who is Elena going to end up choosing?
Actress Nina Dobrev, who plays Elena in the series, said that the love triangle is definitely back on. But she teases that it can go either way. If she were Elena though, she said in an interview, “I’d probably want to step back and take a break from the Salvatores, no matter how brooding, lovely and dangerously delicious they are. It’s just a lot.”
Taking a break may be impossible, especially when she has to deal with all those supernaturals coming and going for her. The last we know, Rebekah wants her killed…and I’m pretty sure the Salvatorre brothers are going to do everything to protect her. So, how can she get away from them?
Ian Somerhalder, who plays Damon in the show, meanwhile says that he sees his character as having zero chance with Elena. He says with humor: “I think Matt or Tyler or even the family dog would have a better chance of getting Elena than Damon would.”

Stephan did what he had to do to save Damon, but i think Stephan’s relationship with Elena has gone as far as it can. I think he deserves to move on and Elena makes Damon a better person and he loves her like crazy. Plus they have insanely amazing chemistry together. I think He deserves a shot.
