List of New Cast Members…
It’s been such a long time between updates for me (and I’m so sorry about that!! please forgive) that the new cast members have just been building up for days and days. The new episodes will be returning soon so lets see who we can spot in some interesting roles.
Melinda Clark will be joining the set of our fav show as Kelly Donovan, Matt and Vicky’s missing mother. Hopefully Melinda will be a much better mother on the Vamp diaries then when we saw her as Julie Cooper on the O.C. You might have also seen Melinda on shows like Entourage, Eli Stone and CSI.
David Anders will also be joining our cast is rumored to be playing Jeremy and Elena’s uncle Jonathan. You can check David out on TV shows such as 24, Heroes and Alias.
Stephen Martines will be joining the cast in the next episode titled A Few Good Men. Martines is playing a crazed Vampire who makes his way out of the tomb which we all thought contained Katherine. Stephen can be seen on General Hospital, Bones, Monarch Cove and The Closer.
Soo… What do we all think of the new editions coming to The Vampire Diaries. Have the producers made a good choice??? Tell us your opinion below!!

OMG… i can´t wait to see them in the show.
I love Vampire Diaries, is awful that we have to wait so long.
I love the writer of the books and also other novels of course but in the tv series i hope there is wicked twist in the next series where katherine emergis one way or another. but like all the young girls out there and being called a cougar by my daughter who loves the show because i like Ian and i’m only couple of years older than him.Hey mums can still look after themselves and still look sensibly hot with class and style that some young and older women are clueless at. It just because I was a model many moons ago and I think the person who has chosen the clothes and style for the show knows their work everyone looks cool without being slutty.Cheers everyone who has worked so hard to the books to life for our enjoyment. kind regards sheryl. PS when the episodes start before my teenage son who loves elana’s beautiful face and her best friend-the witch,sorry but he likes dark haired girls and my daughter who freakishly looks like alana and i;m not lying because her brother looked at me the first episode and said what the,i just got goose bumps on my arms and i said so did i.well they say there is twin out there that like someone else even if it is half way across the world. all the best everyone and don’t get director like the one from twilight if you have something go wrong because she screwed those movies, sorry but she’s an idiot and totally clueless and could potentially wreck everyone’s careers,when i heard chris weitz from the underworld series was doing new moon i thought this will be awesome but some one must of had tight rein on him because that’s not the way he is creatively and artistically.all the best for the future.cheers again shezza.luv fom down under.
OMG, i can’t believe they got Melinda Clark – yeah i definitely agree with you in hoping shes a better mother than she was in the O.C.
Oh, its so cool how they’ve got David Anders – loved him in Heroes and they’ve got Stephen Martines whom i don’t really know much about but it cool.
I hope more episodes come up soon and the more fresh blood they bring onto the show the better, we don’t our character dying out on us do we????

yeah ok new characters cool the show is great, but they could have at least brought Meredith in to the show, she is one of Elana’s best friens in the book and key to some of the problem solving.

I also want to know if Stefan and Elana share blood, they dont have sex in the books they share blood.
if they dont do that, it means they have taken two key points out of the story line.
