I am finding it hard to dislike his character. It’s typical. Teenage girls, women of all ages, doesn’t matter. We’re all attracted to the bad boy stereotype. Ian Somerhalder does, in my opinion, play Damon very well. In the opening scenes to Friday Night Bites, I couldn’t help laughing at how he was with Caroline. Sniffing the blood on the pillow and ugly eye thing that happens when they see/smell blood. I wonder why the producers agreed to have that look. Anybody know? I’ve always thought of vampires being irresistible, not frightening looking.
Okay, I totally went off topic. *SPOILERS* (If you haven’t seen FridayNightBites)

He’s a psychotic evil deamon. Would he be my friend? No. Is he a thrilling, sexy character that gives the show its spark? Most def.

I know this is weird but Damon has a sort of sensualness about him, even when he is talking to Stefan. He leans in just a little too close you know? I think he’s pretty sexy. But I loved him in the book as well so that just makes sense I guess right? haha As for the whole eyes thing. I kinda like it, like it’s showing just how ‘monstrous’ vampires can be. Wanting to kill literally changes them. That’s awesome.
With Damon the reason people are intirgued by him is because you always want to know exactly what he’s thinking! Being sexy helps as well! Lol.
i love damon in the books and in the show he makes my day ,whoever picked the actor for him is pure genius
Since the books Damon has been one of my favorite characters and i am a big fan of Ian Somerhalder so Damon in the series is irresistable. And call it a hunch but i think he’s going to go for Elena next…
i don’t like Damon..he’s too much of a douche for my likings…i don’t like douches..hah. Stefan on the other hand….is soo…dreamy. haha.
Love love Damon to death. He is the only thing that kept me reading the books. He is the only thing keeping me watching this supposed take on the books. The actor is perfect in every way.
Damon is exactly how I think Vampires must be! haha! He’s just kind of evil, with pretty face and charming… but bad to the bones, dark, and likes… no… love to trick people! He’s lost humanity makes him interesting and I love to hate him for what he is! I also love when he’s just makes fun of everyone and treat humans as puppet. As I told, he is a lot like I think vampires would be… if they would exist
