Heres something to think about: what if Kathrine comes into the last episode and Damon kills her out of hatred for abandoning him or he kills her to safe Helena.

OMG, I got SO disapointed when I found out it was Kathrine!!! I just wanted damon and elena to kiss, and it was sooo sweet and then it wasn’t her?!? This leaves me completely comfused! But I can’t believe he didn’t notice!!
I think he did notice it alittle, because when she walked in he looked at her in a strange face, like he knew that kiss, if you know what i mean, but yeah the finale was awesome really awesome and sad that Anna died. Boonnie must ie next i hate witches lol

That was amazing!! And no! When I saw who i thought was Elena cut John’s fingers off I was in shock! Then when he said it was Katherine I practically screamed! It is a beautiful cliffhanger, one which I hate because I really want to see the next season! But Katherine coming back, who would have thought. She seemed to out of the series once Pearl annonced that Katerine didn’t care for Damon or Stephen.

Damon did NOT kiss Elena. That was most certainly Katherine. Elena would not kiss him and do that to Stefan. They showed you that it was Katherine because Elena came home AFTER the kiss. But it was sweet though, he thought it was Elena.

OMG! This episode was amazing and I really don’t think I can wait until next season to watch the next episode. All I can say is wow, I’m speechless, I was on the edge of my seat last night watching it all the way until the end. This writer really knows how to leave you wanting more….Wow wow wow wow.

I should have known that wasn’t Elena because she would never kiss Damon like that and hurt Stefan. The face she gave him when he leaned down to kiss her was more of a ‘You don’t recognize me’ face than a ‘What are you doing’ face.
Katherine. Wow wow wow. For some reason I just forgot about her and the possibility of her coming back. This is going to be awesome. I hope that Elena gets inside and puts John’s ring back on his finger before he dies (If Katherine didn’t leave and take it). I may hate John at some times, but I want Elena to get to know him :]

This was an amazing episode! The cliffhanger with Katherine coming back and Elena just about to meet her! I have been waiting for this forever! Damon did not kiss Elena, that was Katherine, and the major people who died were Anna and John. I felt bad for Jeremy that Anna died too but John was just an annoying character and needed to die. Haha.

I noticed that quite a few of you were wondering whether or not they were going to be coming out with an episode 23 which is a little silly because of coarse they ARE!! Anyways because I am a huge fan I looked up Ian Somerhalder’s Filmography and it showed on there that there is going to be a second season but the date says January 1 2011 ????? I’m not too sure if that is going to be the date that it gets released so don’t take my word on it!! I really hope it isn’t cuz I really don’t think that I will be able to wait that long………………………. Now I’m off to start reading the books!! Take care FANS!!
hey I have just seen ep 22 for the x time, and was thinking about the possible scenarios in the next episode……… I think that Kathrine probably fools Stephan in to bed with her and lets Elena find them and then drives Elena into Damons arms….. I think Kathrine will ruin things between Stephan and Elena. What do u guys think?
