Stefan said that Catherin was the one that turned him to a vampire.
But she was caught, and he was still human that time.
Then they tought she had been arrested and was stuck in the church….
She runned away but she didnt tell them… so…
She had no time or oportunity to turn them into vampires…
Did i miss something???
Because she did blood swaps with them and then they haven’t showed it yet, but eventually they will die as humans and awaken as vampires.

yea…..they start fighting with each other…in the book–with swords……they both end up dieing and then waking up in their coffins!!

catherine bit them and so it wasn’t said she also had to give them her blood. then she was arrested and ran away without telling them.
at this time they were still human. but they didn’t need her anymore to become vampires. they just had to die and then when they woke up again they had to feed on human blood to make the transformation complete. that’s why caroline isn’t a vampire she was bitten but she didn’t got any blood from damon. you can also watch damon explain to caroline how it works in episode 4 (Family Ties) i think.

So I really can’t wait for this episode, but I’m kind of hoping they get more onto the road of the book (not that I don’t love the show the way it is) because I LOVE the way the book deciphers the Katherine-coming-back-from-the-”dead” thing.
*SPOILERS*
Because in the book both of the brothers had thought she was dead and then when she did find them again, Damon, who the book had made for everyone to dislike greatly just as the show has, finally became a good guy, sort of, by tell Katherine to go to hell when she asked him to be with her. Now I’m hoping that the show has set up the storyline that way, making Damon angry at Katherine for being free that whole time and not coming to find him, and then when they do find her, him telling her to “go to hell” like he did in the books. I loved Damon so much and saw him in a new light when that happened in the book. Of course in the book, at the time, Elena was also a vampire, so I’m wondering if that is also going to happen in the same way, and lastly, I REALLY hope that they show the way Damon and Stefan became vampires (the sword fight to each others death) because I very much enjoyed that way :] Okay, that’s all :]]]]

in a book review i dunno was it the fury or the next … but they show that elena gets exposed to sunlight…..and it’s too late for any of the brothers to save her……can anyone tell me what really happens…and in the fury they show that elena chooses damon…….and attacks stefan…..i’ve read only half of the book…cudn’t find the full version on internet…so anyone who knows???

yes, that’s true, in the books Elena becomes a vampire, and in order to take the lapislazuli ring off Katherine and expose her to sunlight (katherine was going to kill elena, stephan and damon), she, elena, exposes herself and dies… but before she dies, she makes both brothers promise they will take care of each other.
Oh, and when Elena becomes a vampire, she gets a little confused and thinks Damon is her true love and Stephan her enemy, but next morning she’s herself again and knows that it’s Stephan who she really loves
I recommend you read the following books, you’ll see that Elena doesn’t go forever, and we get to see a new side of Damon…

I love Damon so much! He hides his feelings all the time, so when, on the odd occasion, you get to see how he’s feeling, it’s even better! Argh, I felt so sorry for him, I ca’t wait till episode 15 and till the last two books come out. I reckon (in the end) that one of the brothers will die. Otherwise, they would never be able to finish the book, because neither Stefan nor Damon would give up on Elena. I really hope it’s not Damon who dies (if i am correct) , but I just have a bad feeling it will be… aniway… great episode

The guy who plays Stephan is originally polish and the the girl who plays Elena is bulgarian so really it’s like two east europeans get together. Sweet
First of all if one of the brothers dies it will be damon because first of all they wont break up stelena and in charectors stefan is more main. But it would be interesting if maybe damon does die but somehow stefan or elena bring him back to life.

Because damon waz changed by katherine and he knows that but stefan thinks he waz changed by katherine but he wasnt and he doesnt know who waz his creator.****
nooooo, stefan and damon both had some of katherines blood in them, and then they got mad at eachother – because in the book she had “walked into the sun” and killed herself – so they killed eachother and woke up in their tombs as vampires. O and i would cry if they killed Damon or Stefan

He isn’t the real Damon (Ian Somerhalder) because Ian clearly stated in an interview that he doesn’t read any fan comments as he was worried they might effect his performance. He deffinately doesn’t comment on them.

Well remember wen in the T.V shows episode 13 Stefans father gets him 2 drink vervain. Wen he got the vervain in his system Katherine’s blood passed out of his system so once again Katherine didn’t change him. explain that!

it was an apartment so he did not have to be invited in. i think.
I think it was actually a Motel room – so not technically a home. Also, it was the residence of other vampires – so not technically a human – therefore no invite was necessary

DAVID ANDERS (“24”) GUEST STARS AS ELENA’S UNCLE JOHN GILBERT — While Stefan struggles to control his new situation, Elena and Jeremy are surprised by a visit from their uncle, John Gilbert. Alaric has an awkward talk with Elena about Isobel. At a Founder’s Day event, Stefan displays a rare party attitude and Damon’s attempt to find out why Uncle John has returned to town takes an ugly turn. An incident at the party causes trouble between Matt and Tyler, and the relationship between Matt and his mother, Kelly, reaches a new low. Meanwhile, Elena’s effort to comfort Jeremy falls short and he decides to take matters into his own hands.
My son, 24, had sexual contact with three girls when in high school. He went on to college at St cloud state Mn for special ed teacher. He broke off the relationship with the girl friend when he was in college as the distance wouldn’t allow for a “real” relationship to survive. In his second yr. he was able to student teach and chose to live at home and teach at his old high school where his ex-girlfriend wasa senior. She talked how she had sex with that teacher and of course, social services got invovled. He was represented by John Shiro in Fond du Lac co. court and pled no contest or else guilty and was sentenced to 9 months jail and five years probation. Certainly a fair sentence in my opinion. He recognizes that he has no more career inteaching but has been put in a virtual hold on life by his probation officer. He has been unable to hold a job or accept jobs because there might be minors around, unable to attend church, unable to go to his grandmothers for a X-mas meal with family,and was not allowed to go to AA meetings in an attempt to stay sober. In his first year on probation he went to Mn. fora fishing trip and drank beer, a violation. He was offered an ATR for alchohol and it worked, but he feels he needs the support group of AA. This is being denied by his PO. He was ordered not to see his fiance in Dec, she is 21 or 22 , but he ignored that rule feeling that it was a violation of his civil rights. I don’t know the role or guidelines a PO can put on an individual, but we feel that he has been unfairly treated over the past two years by her. He wrote a greivance letter to her supervisor in Nov. and has not gotten a response. His Po has a nephew who at the age of 18 molested a 13 yr old girl, got probation, and reoffended a year later with a 14 yr old. He was convicted and sent to prison. We ( my family ) feel that this has affected her emotionally and sees that all deserve the same treatment. This is long, and I apologize, but the bottomline is that my son seems to have gien up all hope on a future of any sort, and is wondering if he should consider a motion hearing or sentence modification. He has faced no new charges but now faces six to ten parole violations. One is seeing his girlfriend, another is that he had a grocery receipt for a bottle of wine in his car. This was a last minuteX-mas gift from his girlfrind to us. We still have it in fact. I am sure he will face revocation with just one year left of his five yr probation term so my son feels like he needs to do something proactive. A friend of mine is Washington CO. DA, Todd Martens. He said in the beginning to contact you like five years ago but unfortunately you were out of town and I was too nervous or frantic and contacted Shiro. Don’t know what to do to help out my son but don’t see that the punishment fits the crime and not real sure of what a PO’s job really is.Any suggestions and if you are interested, any estimate. This PO also had issues with Dr prescribed meds. My list seems endless and we thought we could hold out to the end of probation, but nowit doesn’t appear so. One last thing, I deer hunt with Todd and have not shared these issues with him. But if you see him, I am known as minnow mike. Thank you for your time.
